 Comfort Specialist

Job Description


Reports directly to whom: Residential Sales Manager


Directly supervises whom/what: Running Company Sales Leads


Role: Delivering Exceptional Comfort Solutions to our clients


Tasks and Duties:

  • Run 100% of assigned sales leads
  • Debrief each sales call with the Sales Coordinator
  • Update sales notes in Outlook
  • Create "sold-job" folder and provide to the Sales Coordinator (electronic packet)
  • Produce and present proposals for clients
  • Sell products and equipment
  • Generate referrals and sales leads
  • Set an date with the customer for the final town inspection upon job completion


Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evening and weekend appointments.
  • Excellent customer service principles and practices.
  • "Clean Cut" presentation of yourself
  • Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as databases, spreadsheets and word processing software.
  • General understanding of HVAC systems
  • Skill in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry.

10) Available to attend sales meetings


Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an outside sales position
  • Preferred industry experience (not required)



Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, statistics and information on a computer screen.
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person.
  • Must be able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling, and be able to operate a computer and calculator.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds and reach. May be required to do limited carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling.
  • Must be able to climb into and around crawl spaces and attics



1) Maintain a closing percentage of 45% or greater on all leads run.

  • Maintain a minimum of 45% Cumulative Gross Profit margins on all jobs sold
  • We expect each Comfort Consultant to generate 20% of their own sales leads. These would come from referrals from existing customers, continued work with existing customers, and/or from new customers generated by the Comfort Consultant.
  • Achieve or surpass quarterly sales goals as determined by the Sales Manager
