Job Description

Reports directly to whom: Culture and Care Coordinator (CCC)


Directly supervises whom/what: N/A


Role: To create a positive first impression for any client contacting Crawford Services (over the phone or in person), accurately connecting them to the correct department able to meet their needs. To maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices


Tasks and Duties:


  • Represents the Company by answering the main phone line and transferring all calls to the appropriate person. (Phone tree implementation will reduce the number of these calls in 2020.)
  • Processes incoming mail to the appropriate person.
  • Creates and distributes internal documents at the discretion of the CCC.
  • Provides customer service to Crawford employees by directing them to the appropriate person to answer their questions.
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings
  • Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
  • Assists in scheduling job interviews and in completing the interview process
  • Ensures background and reference checks are completed
  • Prepares new employee files
  • Assists the CCC in planning company events
  • Assists the CCC with any additional tasks


Job Requirements:

  • Possess Strong professional skills
  • Requires exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Must possess problem-solving skills
  • Must have a thorough understanding of email and phone usage
  • Must have a good handle on using computer software such as Word, Excel, and database software
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug test

  • Maintains reliable transportation to and from work and on time attendance.
  • Enjoys being around people and multitasking activities.


  • Preferred two years of experience working in a high-energy, people-oriented environment with at least 20 employees.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, statistics, drawings and information on a computer screen.
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person.
  • Must be able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling, and be able to operate a computer and calculator.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift to 10 pounds and reach. Will be required to do carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling.
  • Must be able to walk short distances and climb stairs in an office space to access file cabinets, office machinery, other work stations, etc.
  • Must be able to speak clearly
